Dr. Adams is successful in treating children struggling in the classroom, adults experiencing computer vision syndrome, individuals with strabismus or amblyopia as well as children with attention deficit, PDD and autism.

Dr. Adams provides:

  • Comprehensive eye examinations for all ages including infants and preschoolers
  • Vision therapy for all ages
  • Treatment for learning-related vision problems, including visual difficulties related to ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, reading and tracking problems
  • Treatment of strabismus (eye turns) and amblyopia
  • Contact lens fitting including bifocal, toric and hybrid lenses
  • Treatment of eye diseases and co-management of surgery (LASIK, cataracts and glaucoma)

The behavioral optometrist recognizes that vision is a dynamic process that is learned and directly effects how we think, how we solve problems and how we feel. The behavioral practitioner is not only concerned about getting you to see 20/20 but how you perceive your environment and how efficiently you use your eyes. Vision therapy is a holistic way of providing care and remediating the visual system.
